Mohs Surgery Center
Mohs Micrographic Surgery
Mohs Micrographic Surgery is a state-of-the art treatment for skin cancer in which the physician serves as surgeon, pathologist and reconstructive surgeon. It relies on the accuracy of a map of the diseased tissue area and the precision of a microscope to trace out and ensure complete removal of the skin cancer. Our surgeons have extensive training in reconstructive surgery which can usually be performed immediately after microscopic analysis has confirmed the cancer is completely gone.
Our Mohs Surgery Center:
- Offers the highest cure rate (up to 98%)
- Minimizes the potential for scarring and disfigurement
- Has the lowest chance of regrowth
- Is the most precise means of skin cancer removal
*Mohs Surgery is not recommended for treatment of Melanoma.
